Since my childhood, I couldn’t see poverty at any cost. Then I decided to strive for my nation and wipe out the deprivation from my society. Owing to be a kind-hearted as my late father, I took an initiative of an NGO for social welfare.
Being a business owner, I am a blissful person, having countless blessings of life. A hotel is running successfully in Dwarka, namely Roma Kristo Hotel, and recently I collaborated with Marriott for Courtyard Batumi in Georgia. Being successful in my occupation, I have been running my social organization – Kanuda Mitra Mandal. Auspiciously working for many years, this NGO has been a supportive organ for countless families and persons, especially in the strenuous time of the global pandemic. The motto of my organization is, “NOBODY WILL BE LEFT BEING DEPRIVED AND WORN-OUT”.
Besides being a pioneer of Roma Kristo Hotel, I have also been working as a social activist by running a social organization that has been working successfully for laborers, daily-wagers, deserving students, and the folks suffering from food scarcity.
Apart from working as a social activist, I have founded companies in Dubai.
Rakesh Rajdev has recently opened up a 5-Star hotel “Courtyard by Marriott, Batumi” in Georgia (operated under a license agreement from Marriott International, Inc.)

Journey
On February 6, 2023, a catastrophic earthquake of magnitude 7.8 struck Turkey and Syria, claiming the lives of tens of thousands of people and causing widespread devastation. In the aftermath of the disaster, Rakesh Rajdev, a successful businessman and philanthropist from Rajkot, Gujarat, stepped up to offer his assistance and support to the victims.
Rakesh Rajdev was born and raised in Rajkot, Gujarat, where he developed a passion for business at a young age. He went on to pursue his studies in commerce and management and eventually launched several successful ventures, including the 5-star hotel Courtyard Batumi, the three-star hotel Roma Kristo Hotel in Dwarka and companies such as APM Intl DMCC, APM Capital, and APM Bullion in Dubai.
Apart from his entrepreneurial pursuits, Rakesh Rajdev was also known for his philanthropic work. In November 2011, he founded Kanuda Mitra Mandal, a charity and social welfare organization, with the aim of helping people and families in need. Through his organization, he had already made significant contributions to society, including supporting education and healthcare initiatives in rural areas of Gujarat.
When news of the earthquake in Turkey and Syria broke, Rakesh Rajdev knew he had to act quickly. He immediately mobilized his resources and began to coordinate with local authorities and relief agencies to provide assistance to those affected by the disaster.
Shri Rakesh Rajdev‘s organization, Kanuda Mitra Mandal, worked tirelessly to provide aid to the victims of the earthquake. They provided food, shelter, and medical supplies to those who had lost everything in the disaster. Rakesh Rajdev also set up a fund to help the families of those who had lost their lives in the earthquake, ensuring that they would not be left without support during this difficult time.
Rakesh Rajdev’s efforts did not go unnoticed. The local community praised him for his humanitarian work, and his organization received recognition from relief agencies and government officials for its contributions to the relief efforts.
However, for Rakesh Rajdev, the recognition was not important. What mattered to him was the impact he was making on the lives of those affected by the disaster. He continued to work tirelessly, day and night, to ensure that the victims of the earthquake received the assistance and support they needed.
